Last weekend saw us once again at the Swindon bowl in the Old Town Gardens for the choir festival which was raising funds for Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Appeal.
Who’d like to go and sing to some men in uniform? This is a question which I regularly put to the BlueBelles around mid November when we increasingly get booked to sing for an MOD Christmas Function.
Last year, The BlueBelles sang in St George’s Hall in Bristol as part of the 2015 Festival of Song. Clearly we made a reasonable impression as we were invited back again to take part in this years Festival.
Last month Lucy, one of our fabulous Second Alto’s, turned 40. Well so she says anyway. She doesn’t look a day over 30 so it may well be she’s just got confused. So naturally there was a party, and all the BlueBelles, along with lots of Lucy’s other friends, were invited.
It’s always a pleasure to sing. Even better in such a beautiful location with an appreciative audience! How lucky we are to be able to have arranged this Afternoon of Jazz at Marlborough Town Hall last Sunday.

On Sunday 18 October The BlueBelles were in Bristol singing at St George’s as part of the finale of the 2015 Bristol Festival of Song.
Last night (26 September 2015), The BlueBelles performed at a concert entitled ‘Voices on the Hill” which took place in the Theatre on the Hill at St John’s College, Marlborough.
On Saturday The BlueBelles performed at the Marlborough International Jazz Festival. We were given a 90 minute slot at St Mary’s Church to sing from 6pm until 7.30pm.
We will be singing at St Mary’s Church, Marlborough as part of the 2015 Marlborough Jazz Festival, this Saturday 18 July from 6pm. We’d love to see you there!
