On Saturday, the BlueBelles were in Cirencester to sing in Concert at the Parish Church alongside Cirencester Male Voice Choir and Caldicott Male Voice Choir.
Cirencester MVC opened the concert with a rousing rendition of ‘Stout Hearted Men’. This was followed by the more gently ‘Softly I will leave you’. Then a couple of songs from Musicals – If I were a Rich Man and Rhythm of Life. Then it was the turn of The BlueBelles who sang: Can’t Help Lovin’ dat Man, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and Mister Sandman. The first half was concluded by the fabulous Cor Meibion Caldicot under the direction of Shirley Ann James. Their use of the organ during American Trilogy really made the song even more outstanding.
