Last Sunday, the BlueBelles featured as one of 15 choirs singing at the first ever Swindon Choir Festival which was held at the Bowl in the Old Town Gardens. The event was being put on to raise money for the Open Door Charity which has recently lost some of its funding.
Despite the weather, which was heavy rain for the majority of the afternoon, there was a good turnout and in true British spirit the audience sat huddled under their umbrellas determined to hear the choirs sing.
The BlueBelles started their set by singing Unchained Melody alongside Cirencester Male Voice Choir, who had been on stage before them.

Following the joint song, the BlueBelles sang a half an hour set which included:

Our next gig will be at the 2015 Marlborough Jazz Festival. The BlueBelles are singing in St Mary’s Church from 6pm on Saturday 18 July. We’d love to see you there!
