How lucky we are in Pewsey to be a part of such vocal talent. It was such a delight to be able to organise and take part in the Spring concert at St. John’s Church in Pewsey last Saturday. Who would have thought that our small choir could develop so dramatically in just a few short years that we are able to perform for the best part of two hours without our black folders!
It was especially fantastic to hear the Pewsey Belles in such fine voice telling their stories though song. In particular, the nicely choreographed Sway! The audience loved it. However, “The Rhythm of Life” stole the show with its exuberance and energy.
The BlueBelles provided a different style of a cappella singing, and a few solos and other pieces made the evening varied and enjoyable. It would have been even nicer if our audience was bigger, but maybe we have now recruited every lady in the village! Its always a pleasure and a privilege to sing with you all.
Thank you all for being part of this. Can’t wait for the next event!
