Last night (26 September 2015), The BlueBelles performed at a concert entitled ‘Voices on the Hill” which took place in the Theatre on the Hill at St John’s College, Marlborough.
The concert, onceived and planned by Alison Netherclift, was in support of Hope and Homes for Children and Help for Heroes. The BlueBelles were honoured to have been invited to be part of this concert which was fundraising for two very worthy causes.
There were two other choirs performing at this concert :- The Kennet Valley & Oare Primary School choirs under the direction of Gudrun Osborn and the Great Bedwyn Millennium Choir under the direction of Fiona MacArthur. We also heard solos from Nicholas Evans, (Baritone), Fiona MacArthur (Mezzo Soprano) & Sarah Allport (Saxophone).

The BlueBelles performed a short set in each half and also sang in the Les Miserables Medley at the end which saw all performers on the stage together.
The BlueBelles received a lot of compliments on their professional performance from both audience members and other musicians involved in the concert. They were also sporting their new blue ‘shrugs’ which are designed to give the choir a ‘unity’ when on stage.
